Shell Gas Compressor Oil S1 P 460

SKU: 500006002 Categories: ,

Description

Shell Gas Compressor Oil S1 P 460 provides reliable performance for cylinder lubrication of reciprocating compressors handling hydrocarbon gas at high pressure. It is compounded with polar or fatty oils which enable the lubricant to resist being washed off cylinder walls by the action of wet air or gas. Shell Gas Compressor Oil S1 P 460 also resists the solvent action of hydrocarbon gases such as propane and butane, as well as certain organic chemicals such as ketones and aldehydes.

Features and Benefits

DRYDENE COMPRESSALL ELITE A/LS compressor oils utilize ashless additive chemistry to improve the fluid's ability to inhibit the corrosive properties of hydrogen sulfide, chlorine-containing compounds and other sour gases often found in gas processing operations. CompressAll Elite A/LS fluids contain no aromatics or alkenes that may appear in mineral-based compressor fluids and no esters which help reduce the likelihood of hydrolysis in acidic environments., Excellent protection against corrosion of oil-lubricated metals, Helps extended drain intervals to reduce compressor operating costs, Low pour point and high viscosity index ensure rapid fluid distribution and viscosity retention across a wide range of operating temperatures, DRYDENE SYNTHETICOOL GS 46 will not form varnish deposits like typical petroleum or PAO based oils., Extended change-out intervals (up to 10,000 hours) provides cost savings over standard service fluids, Elimination of deposit and varnish formation keep machinery clean and helps extend component life, Waste disposal in minimized due to longer service life, Helps eliminate seasonal oil change-outs, Readily biodegradable, 100% synthetic fluid for reduced environmental impact, Reduced fire hazards due to high flash point
