Drydene Radias S 220 Rust & Oxidation (R&O) Oil
Description
DRYDENE RADIAS® S oils are rust and oxidation (R&O) inhibited hydraulic fluids designed for industrial circulating systems, hydraulic systems and lightly-loaded gear systems that do not operate under extreme pressure. The ashless additive system provides reliable protection against rust, corrosion, deposit formation and wear without the use of traditional heavy metals.Additional Information

| Features and Benefits | Strong Control of Oxidation – The use of inherently oxidatively stable base oils together with an effective inhibitor package provides high resistance to oxidative degradation. The result is extended oil life, minimizing the formation of aggressive corrosive acids, deposits and sludge, reducing your operating costs. High Resistance to Foaming and Rapid Air Release – The oils are formulated with an anti-foam additive, which generally controls foam formation. this feature coupled with fast air-release from the lubricant reduces the possibility of problems such as pump cavitation, excessive wear and premature oil oxidation, giving you increased system reliability. Positive Water-Shedding Properties – Robust demulsibility control such that excess water, common-place in steam turbines, can be drained easily from the lubrication system, minimizing corrosion and premature wear, lowering the risk of unplanned maintenance. Excellent Rust & Corrosion Protection – Prevents the formation of rust and guards against onset of corrosion ensuring protection for equipment following exposure to humidity or water during operation and during shut-downs, minimizing maintenance., Extended Oil Life – Shell Turbo S4 X 32 delivers exceptional resistance to degradation, even under conditions of high oxidative and thermal stress. Excellent results in both the ASTM dry TOST and the TOST life test (ASTM D943) demonstrate the potential for Shell Turbo S4 G 32 to offer extended service life, reduced maintenance costs and less downtime when compared to conventional mineral oil technology. Enhanced Equipment Protection – The greater resistance against varnish and sludge formation provided by Shell Turbo S4 X 32 allows turbine systems to operate reliably even during severe peak load operation. Minimizing the formation of sludge and bearing deposits not only reduces the wear of critical system components, but can also reduce the risk of an unplanned turbine shutdown. Enhanced System Efficiency – Demulsibility, air release, resistance to foaming, and filter blockage are critical factors for oil in the latest geared turbine designs (especially turbines which have shorter oil residence times). Shell Turbo S4 X 32 offers excellent performance in all four areas, ensuring that optimum operating conditions are maintained., Good Thermal and Oxidation Stability – Resists the formation of sludge and other harmful products of oxidation, giving long oil life. Excellent Corrosion Protection – High level of corrosion protection of all metal surfaces. Excellent Oil/Water Separation Properties – Easy drainage of excess water from lubrication systems. Good Air Release Characteristics – Effective air release without excessive foaming. Reliable Performance in MHI Turbines – Shel Turbo Oil J 32 meets the requirements of MHI turbines and has been successfully tested in the MHI in-house dry TOST test. |
