Castrol Techniclean MP Flex Alkaline Cleaners

SKU: 1580FA Categories: ,

Description

Castrol Techniclean™ MP Flex ( previosuly called Flexiclean™) is a heavy duty alkaline cleaner that effectively breaks loose hardened deposits of chips and swarf, and readily removes oily residues, gummy deposits, grit and dirt from interior and exterior machine surfaces. Techniclean MP Flex is particularly well suited for coolant system cleanouts, yet it can be used in immersion, general maintenance and spray wash applications.

Additional Information

Size

330 gal., 55 gal., 5 gal.

Appearance

Clear, Slight Yellow to Amber Liquid, Concentrate: Amber Liquid, Emulsion: Translucent Fluid

Application Procedure

Make up an emulsion by adding the Techniclean CPL to agitated water (preferably heated). Check concentration, pH and bath level regularly, especially if used hot. To reduce the risk of stability and corrosion issues caused by increasing contamination of water hardness and corrosive salts (e.g. chloride) it is recommended to fill up evaporation losses with deionised water. The protective film must be completely dried before packaging.

Applications

Techniclean 3660 is designed to clean light to moderate soils from a wide variety of metals, suitable for use in a wide range of industrial spray and intensive flood wash machines. Techniclean 3660 effectively removes light drawing and stamping fluids, light oils and honing fluids, semi-synthetic and soluble oil cutting and grinding fluids, synthetic cutting and grinding fluids as well as swarf, dust and dirt. Excellent in-house corrosion protection can be achieved with concentrations above 3%., Techniclean CPL effectively removes soils such as emulsions and synthetic metalworking fluids, light and medium viscosity metalworking oils, swarf, dust and dirt, oily- and thin-film rust preventives, hydraulic and lubricating oils, and flux residues. It is suitable for use in cleaning equipment such as spray and flood wash. Techniclean CPL is multi-metal compatible as it is safe to use on ferrous and non-ferrous alloys. This product leaves a light oily film that provides in-process corrosion protection and lubrication for subsequent operations.

Features and Benefits

Unique formulation rejects oils and significantly extends bath life which helps reducing maintenance cost, Low pH allows use on a wide variety of metals enabling possible product and inventory consolidation, Excellent in-house corrosion protection properties support minimizing the scrap-rate, Superior bioresistance and low foam characteristic allows low temperature cleaning which helps reducing energy cost, Stable emulsion to extend fluid life and to reduce additive purchases and system recharges, Versatility – this product has the ability to clean, prevent in-process corrosion and provide lubrication, This enables reduction of product purchases and consolidates inventory Protects parts from in-process corrosion to eliminate costly rework as a result of rust, Leaves a light oily film that reduces the need for a lubricant in certain assembly operations, Remains stable in hard water to reduce usage and ensure system cleanliness, Performs well on a variety of metals in various cleaning systems to allow for inventory consolidation
